Chapter 1: The Xzandians
Gothalia Ignatius-Valdis, serving as a Lieutenant and Centurion of the Fire Reserve, undertakes her daily responsibilities with precision and dedication. Later in the day, she convenes with her fellow squadron members to watch a tournament before listening to a briefing on the Xzandians by the Lieutenant Colonels in order to prepare the Centurions, Cavaliers and Legionnaires to defend and protect the Fire Reserve from the Xzandians.

Chapter 2: Common Enemy
Noel-Len Igantius works within the prison system, dealing with the daily challenges of incarceration. His routine takes a dark turn when one prisoner becomes possessed by a mysterious, aggressive virus, causing chaos behind bars. Amid this crisis, a police officer tragically dies, heightening the tension. After enduring the turmoil at work, Noel-Len returns home only to discover a home invasion underway.
